I require a negative Covid-19 swab test (PCR test) in order to travel. How can I get this?

It’s simple and easy to book: simply fill in the online request form with the required details. We will call you to book the appointment within 24 hours of receiving the form.

How long does a fit to fly test take?

A fit to fly test for COVID-19 usually only takes 5 to 10 minutes to perform. Results from the test usually come back within 24 hours.

How much does it cost?

£130 per test. Please let us know if it is for a larger group and we may be able to offer a discounted price.

Are there additional fees for the certificate?

No, there are no additional fees.

What does a PCR Test involve?

The test involves taking a nasal/throat swab. These are then sent to a lab for analysis where they amplify the result to see if you have COVID-19. One of our health care professionals will perform the test for you. That way it will be much more accurate, and you won’t have to worry about taking the sample the wrong way.

What dates will be shown on my results?

The date you took the test, and the date the test was analysed.

Can you advise me on the Covid-19 policy for my particular airline or country?

No. It is your responsibility to get the timing of your test right, otherwise you may not beable to travel. lease speak with your airline and check the website link belowor country-specific information on timings as they may vary or change at short notice.

What identification do I need when I come for the test?

Please bring your passport so we can verify your identity and can take down the information for the certificate.

Can I get a certificate without a test?

No, you have to undertake a test to get a certificate.

Can I use an NHS test for travel?

No. These tests are not recognised by international border staff or airlines. You will need to have a private test administered. The NHS tests are designed for people that show symptoms or believe they have come in to contact with some who is COVID-19 positive. For travel you require a PCR test that is stamped and signed by a verified lab and doctor, not an NHS test.

Can I get tested if I have symptoms?

We are not liable for any circumstances beyond our control or any expenses that you may incur as a result of a test result not arriving back from the laboratory in time. For example, circumstances beyond our control could include lost parcels, inconclusive tests, positive tests and lab delays leading to a refusal to enter a country/board the plane. 

It is your responsibility:

(name and date of birth as it appears on your passport)·
      
To make sure your travel documents are valid and correct.    

The test appointment booked is within the time frame required for your airline/destination of travel.
